Two frames off to the powder coater. Four more to go. Been cracking away at.
I've made a bunch of machinery and tooling purchases recently. And I'm thoroughly impressed with how much it's sped up my process. I mitered and welded on four sets of chainstays in six hours. Same for four sets of seatstays. It used to be an all-day event to do just one set by hand. It's completely possible to hand-miter chainstays and fastback seatstays well enough to TIG weld them on. I know, I've done it a number of times. Thing about it, though, is it takes a lot of time and patience. I've got plenty of the latter, not so much of the former. Super happy to be able to knock out these bikes in less time. To be able to get more people out there on awesome bikes.
With chainstays...
...and seatsatys.
